What Is Bald Sports?
Bald Sports is a set of sports games where the prize pool plays too.
Players enter familiar formats like Survivor and Bracket. They make picks, follow the tournament, and compete for the prize pool.
The difference is what happens between rounds.
In a normal sports pool, the prize pool sits idle until the contest ends. Bald Sports changes that.
On Bald Sports, the prize pool does not sit still. Entries vote on where the shared pool moves next. The winning vote chooses one of the strategy options scheduled for that contest round.

The Core Loop

What Happens Onchain?
Bald Sports runs on Base and uses USDC for entries and claims.
Players sign picks and votes in the app before the lock. Eligible signed picks and votes are published after the lock so the game can record picks, count votes, and move the prize pool.
The prize pool sits in an onchain treasury. When a spot strategy wins a round vote, execution uses Odos and Aerodrome to route the swap. When the game ends and payouts are finalized, eligible winners claim from the prize pool.
The goal is a simple player experience with transparent prize-pool movement.
What Is The Risk?
The prize pool can move into onchain strategies. That means it can go up or down.
Some rounds may include USDC as one of the scheduled options. Other rounds may offer only onchain spot options. If a selected move cannot be completed safely, the system may hold or return the pool in USDC as a safety override.
