Prize Pool Voting

The prize pool finally gets to play. During each round’s configured vote window, entries vote on where the shared prize pool moves next.

Four scheduled options

Each contest round has four strategy options chosen before that round.

Odos and Aerodrome

Spot swaps use Odos as the primary route and Aerodrome as a fallback route when needed.

USDC safety override

If a selected move cannot complete safely, the system may hold or return the pool in USDC.

The Basic Idea

Every game has a prize pool in USDC. During the game, entries vote on the next move for that pool. The winning strategy is applied to the shared pool for the round. The pool can move. Players choose only from the four scheduled options shown for that contest round. Some rounds may include USDC as one of those options. The pool can also lose value.

Voting Power

Voting is entry-based. 1 entry = 1 vote. In Survivor, only alive entries vote. In Bracket, all entries vote.

Strategy Options

Each contest round has four scheduled strategy options. The options can change by contest and round. A round may include USDC when Bald Sports intentionally offers a defensive choice. Other rounds may offer four onchain spot swap options. For swap-based options, Bald Sports uses Odos and Aerodrome as execution routes. They are not extra vote options. The app shows the four available strategy options before you vote.

What Happens Onchain

After voting locks, eligible signed votes are published and the winning option is determined. If a spot option wins, the prize-pool move is executed from the onchain treasury. Bald Sports uses Odos as the primary execution route for swaps and Aerodrome as a fallback route when needed. The prize-pool move affects the value of the shared pool, but it does not change sports scoring, eliminations, or who made a valid pick.

How A Vote Wins

The option with the most votes wins. If two or more options tie, the predefined option priority breaks the tie. If USDC is included in that round, it is assigned the first priority position. If USDC is not included, the tied scheduled option with the highest priority wins.

Example

There are 100 active votes.
OptionVotes
cbBTC34
AERO28
VVV22
wstETH16
cbBTC wins because it has the most votes. If two options tie, the predefined option priority resolves the tie.

What Happens If A Move Cannot Complete

If the selected move cannot be completed safely, the system may hold or return the pool in USDC for that round instead of substituting a different voted option. The app may show this as a USDC safety override state.

What Players Should Know

The prize pool can go up or down based on the selected move. Bald Sports does not promise growth. It is a sports game with a living prize pool and real risk. Review the available options before voting.
